WHAT IS

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

Nutritional therapy focuses on maximising an individual’s health and wellbeing through a personalised approach, considering both nutrition and lifestyle factors. All programmes are evidence based, taking into account the latest scientific research. It is important to choose a properly qualified, insured and accredited Nutritional Therapist.

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist having gained a Diploma in nutritional therapy at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition, with distinction. I am a full member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine), and am registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

I regularly attend training courses for continued professional development.

Work With Me

Consultations

I support my clients’ hormonal health from pre-conception, through pregnancy to menopause, and beyond. I passionately believe that nutrition can have a profound, positive effect on health and wellbeing and can enhance your vitality and energy. My focus is on forging lasting and meaningful relationships with my clients.

Hormonal Health

Are you sick of feeling hormonally imbalanced, having less energy than you would like and dealing with stubborn weight gain? We are more stressed than ever, we are bigger than ever and most of us feel anxious a lot of the time, particularly around our monthly cycle. Life has changed in so many ways over the last century, with the net result having a negative effect on our hormones. Let me help you balance your hormones naturally. Suffering from PMS and struggling through menopause is not normal! My aim is to get you to think about addressing the underlying cause of your hormonal imbalance and bring balance back to your life.

How It Works

A nutritional therapy consultation involves building a detailed picture of your diet, lifestyle, use of medications and supplements, medical history and health concerns. An initial consultation typically lasts 90 minutes, with follow up consultations lasting 60 minutes. We will explore your health issues through a detailed questionnaire, which you will fill in prior to the consultation. We will then discuss this during the first consultation before formulating a safe, effective and achievable health plan, to optimise nutrition and wellbeing.

Follow up consultations will be scheduled for approximately four weeks after your initial meeting, to monitor progress and re-evaluate the health plan, if required. I offer one-to-one consultations, as well as consultations by Skype. Couples trying for a baby are very welcome to attend together.
